MICRO DEBRIEF
Voici un très court mot de revue sur la soirée avec le dj Elias Erium, qui fut publié sur le groupe fermé du club, reprise ici.
Merci aux dj @elias erium et @8kays aka @Iryna Shvydka pour leur solids performances du week-end. J’ai découvert 8Kays avec son techno puissant et rythmique, mais avait entendu une fois déjà Elias Erium, pour le redécouvrir à nouveau avec grande satisfaction. C’est tres personnel, mais je le félicite pour avoir su nous donner de la groove en nous plongeant dans de grandes vagues hypotoniques et structurées en grandes phrases musicales très théâtrales et super dansantes. En plus d’avoir une belle énergie comme performer, il a su très bien reprendre les commandes suite au passage de 8Kays jusqu’à une belle fermeture, et pour toutes ces raisons, je lui donne un gros Kudo.
Vous me direz que je ne suis pas objectif et c’est vrai, mais je tiens à souligner à nouveau le merveilleux travail constant et chirurgical de l’éclairagiste @luc, qui prend le temps et la passion de nous offrir des visuels et ambiances absolument époustouflantes, variées, évolutives et ON TIME sur la musique.
La plupart d’entre vous n’y ont meme jamais pensé j’en suis sur à tel point tout est parfait.
C’est tellement en synchro sur la musique, que vous ne faites que suivre, et plonger dans les noirs, ou être baigné de mille feux, ou danser tout en bleu, ou en rouge… À votre prochain ((())), vous observerez que souvent, les effets lumineux sont tellement coordonné que l’on ne réalise pas que les explosions lumineuses arrivent en même temps que les drops de base… ou les noirs dans les brake, ou mille variations…
Samedi dernier, il y a eu un segment ou il a particulièremnt joué avec les faisceaux blanc et rouges sur la boule, avec les lasers parfaitement droits dans le ciel qui traversent toute la salle…c’était vraiment comme une composition dynamique de lumière dans un thème très précis, dark, light, strobe, pitch black…
Bravo Luc, et merci de t’appliquer tout le temps avec créativité et technique. Tu travaille beaucoup et contribue au succès de nos expériences en mettant en valeur la musique des dj selon moi, mais dans l’ombre, alors je me permets un petit flash sur ton rôle “invisible” 😉
Chaque Stereo est une aventure unique, mais il est si bon de se retrouver sur le plancher en votre compagnie, pour retrouver les vieux amis ou rencontrer de nouveaux visages, dans le belle énergie et le partage du mouvement.

Thanks to djs Elias Erium and @8kays aka @Iryna Shvydka for their solids performances of the weekend. I discovered 8Kays with his powerful, rhythmic techno, but had already heard Elias Erium once, only to rediscover him again with great satisfaction.
It’s very personal, but I’d like to congratulate him on his ability to give us a groove by immersing us in great hypotonic waves, structured in great musical phrases that are highly theatrical and super danceable. Not only does he have great energy as a performer, but he was also able to take over from 8Kays and close the show, and for all these reasons, I give him a big Kudo.
You’ll tell me I’m not objective, and that’s true, but I’d like to underline once again the marvellous, constant and surgical work of lighting designer Luc LHeureux, who takes the time and passion to offer us absolutely breathtaking visuals and ambiences, varied, evolving and ON TIME with the music.
I’m sure most of you haven’t even thought about it, it’s all so perfect.
The lights and colors are so in sync with the music, that you just follow along, and dive into the blacks, or be bathed in a thousand lights, or dance all in blue, or red… or in the lazer buble.
At your next ((())), you’ll observe that often, the lighting effects are so coordinated that you don’t even realize that the light explosions are happening at the same time as the base drops… or the blacks in the brakes, or a thousand variations… No, you’re just… IN the light.
Last Saturday, there was a segment (during 8Kays I think) where he particularly played with the white and red beams on the ball, with the lasers perfectly straight in the sky crossing the whole room… it was really like a dynamic composition of light in a very precise theme, dark, light, strobe, pitch black… With other dancers, we took the time to admire the show, just wow.
Bravo Luc, and thank you for applying yourself all the time with creativity and technique. You work hard and contribute to the success of our experiments, enhancing the djs’ music in my opinion, but in the shadows, so I’ll allow myself a little flash on your « invisible » role 😉
Each Stereo is a unique adventure, but it’s so good to be on the floor with you dancers, to catch up with old friends or meet new faces, in the beautiful energy and sharing of movement.
A good weekend of STEREO dancing ends as much as possible at Stereobar for Les beaux dimanche, and this week again it was great fun dancing to @Yokoo, who kept us busy all evening.
